Hari Prasad Jella founded Kalpatharu Foundation International to answer a question he kept returning to in his professional life: why is so much good intention in community work never measured, never repeated and never scaled?
His response was to run charitable programmes the way he runs engineering projects — diagnose the real problem first, involve every party who holds part of the answer, record what actually happened, and design so that the next district can run it without him.
Technology pays for and enables the social work. The social work keeps the technology honest about who it is for.
