Who we work with

Partners

We are deliberately small. Almost everything here is done with someone else — and we name them, because a partner you can look up is worth more than an adjective.

Implementation partners

Kalpatharu does not build systems. After a free Groundwork assessment we refer organisations to independent firms suited to what they need, and where an organisation qualifies we ask those firms for a reduced rate on its behalf.

What we receive: nothing

Kalpatharu receives no fee, commission, revenue share or other payment from any implementation partner, for a referral or for anything else. Any reduced rate is offered by the partner and is not funded by Kalpatharu. You are free to use any provider you wish, including one you already work with, and that changes nothing about the help we give you.

If that ever changes, it will be stated on this page.

Kashyak Technologies

One of the firms we refer organisations to, with nonprofit delivery experience since 2009 across Salesforce, custom applications and cloud systems. Work includes Pacific American Foundation, Science by Connections, Unlocking Futures, Waco Regional Baptist Association and Children's Nature Institute.

Disclosed relationship: Kashyak is a for‑profit company founded by Kalpatharu's founder, Hari Prasad Jella. We state this openly rather than leave it to be discovered. He is recused from decisions about which partner an organisation is referred to, and Kalpatharu is paid nothing by Kashyak.

Additional implementation partners

We are expanding the panel so that a referral always reflects what an organisation needs rather than who we know. Firms are selected for genuine nonprofit experience, willingness to offer reduced rates to qualifying organisations, and a track record we can check.

Each partner will be named here with any relationship disclosed, on the same terms as above.

SaltForge

Operates a capital access programme for organisations with a community mandate. Where an organisation needs capital rather than systems, we make an introduction and receive no fee for doing so.

Disclosed relationship: a separate company under common ownership with Kalpatharu. Not a Foundation programme; any arrangement is directly between your organisation and SaltForge.

Programme partners

The people and institutions who make the community work possible on the ground.

  • Government schools and arts and science colleges across Tamil Nadu
  • Parent‑Teacher Associations, who co‑fund MAGAL sessions
  • Madras Fertilizers Limited, Manali — POSH training
  • LEAF Society
  • Glossy Styling Studio — beauty and styling training
  • Practising advocates of the Madras High Court
  • Doctors, nurses and counsellors who staff the medical camps
  • District health teams and local government offices

  • Village leadership in our programme districts

Technology programmes we help organisations use

Google, Microsoft and Salesforce each run nonprofit programmes offering their products free or heavily discounted to qualifying organisations.

You can apply for these directly and you do not need us to do it. Our role is the work of choosing, configuring and maintaining — not access to something already available to you.

On disclosure

Two of the organisations on this page are companies under common ownership with the Foundation. We could have described them simply as partners, or left them unnamed entirely, and most readers would never have checked.

We state it because an organisation asking you to trust it with money and data should not have anything a diligent funder could discover on their own. If you have questions about how these relationships are governed, ask us.
